LEOPARD SEAL. ORG

Many years ago a Leopard Seal started showing up in our Auckland marinas. Doc contacted our hapu for our cultural input. I named her He Owha nā ōku tūpuna, A treasure from our tupuna. She is protected under the Wildlife Act. Leopard Seals, along with all marine mammals, i.e Dolphins, Whales etc, keep the energy lines and wellbeing of our Oceans balanced. We must understand that all things are connected and when the mauri (life force/essence) of these marine mammals are diminished or threatened, our mauri and the wellbeing of the ocean is too. We need to appreciate all species on the planet. Owha is often seen in around the Auckland Marinas, Westhaven, Beachhaven, Hearld Island, Te Atatu. Please report any sightings of Owha to Leopard Seal.org. Dr Krista Hupman is the contact.
